Blockchain is STILL in its infancy.

A friend came up to me at a party and said he remembered me talking about "those Bitcoins" over 5 years ago.  He said "nobody really understands this blockchain thing".

It struck me how few people know anything about blockchain's potential, ...let alone how few people are invested. He was a very successful broker and not a dumb person by any stretch.

We really are still in the infancy of a world-changing event. All of us who get it are obliged to do our best to educate our friends and family.

Baby-steps. Bit by bit and block-by-block we are spreading the word, spreading the use, and rebuilding the system of value  exchange with trust-less, decentralized systems that are up to the challenges of the modern world.

Each time there is a crash, I remind myself how few people are here with us. Most are still waiting until it is easy to get onboard. In the coming months and years, Wall Street will package ways to get average folks into blockchain. Growing pains like scalability and complexity of doing transactions will fade away.

If you remember the early days of the Internet, you remember modem connections and having to know the IP address of everyone you wanted to connect to. Things were slow, complicated and expensive. We stayed interested because we saw the potential and the potential was huge.  In a fraction of that time, blockchain has grown even faster, shown even more potential, and has painted the picture of a very bright future!
